Privacy Policy
How we handle personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
In short: We use your name, contact details and message only to respond to this enquiry and check for conflicts of interest, and delete them within 12 months if no engagement follows. You can access, correct or erase your data, or withdraw consent, at any time on our Your data rights page; complaints may go to our Grievance Officer or the Data Protection Board of India.

What we collect
Only what you choose to send us through the enquiry form or by email: your name, phone number, email address, the practice area and preferred time you select, and the description of your matter.
Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, check for conflicts of interest and, if you ask us to, schedule a consultation. We do not use it for marketing and we do not sell or share it with third parties, except service providers who host this website and our email, under contract.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within twelve months. Data relating to an engagement is retained for as long as professional and legal obligations require.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, or nominate another person to exercise these rights. Use the Your data rights page or write to us at budhirajaandco@outlook.com. We respond within 90 days at the latest. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and takes effect when you ask. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Who we share it with
Our website host and database provider store this data for us, under contract and only on our instructions. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.
Security and breaches
Data is encrypted in transit and access is limited to the people who need it; sensitive identifiers are encrypted at rest. Every access to and change of records is logged. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India without delay.
Cookies
This website stores a single preference in your browser to remember that you accepted the disclaimer. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We count how often each page is read — the page and the day, nothing about who read it — and skip even that if your browser asks not to be tracked.
